About the role

Join a leading Australian organisation as a Commercial Strategy Manager, working within the Partnerships, Growth Business Strategy & Value Creation team. You will help unlock commercial value across the company’s most strategic external partnerships and growth ventures, translating strategic insight into tangible business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic problem‑solving to identify new sources of commercial value across key partnerships and growth businesses.
• Structure and deliver complex workstreams, integrating commercial, financial and strategic perspectives.
• Conduct rigorous commercial, financial and market analysis to support investment decisions, negotiations and strategic recommendations.
• Develop executive‑level presentations, board papers and partner materials that turn complex analysis into clear insights.
• Project‑manage strategic initiatives end‑to‑end, ensuring delivery against milestones and commercial outcomes.
• Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions through data‑driven insights.
• Build strong relationships with internal leaders and external partners to align priorities and unlock long‑term value.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ experience in top‑tier strategy consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, M&A or commercial strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher, e.g., MBA) with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen, capable of evaluating business performance and complex commercial arrangements.
• Proven project‑management capability, handling multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Exceptional stakeholder‑management and communication skills, able to influence senior leaders.
