Commercial Specialist – Defence Projects

About the role

KBR is seeking experienced Commercial Specialists to support complex Defence programmes and projects. You will manage contracts through the post‑execution lifecycle, ensuring obligations are met while supporting governance, risk management and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract management plans and processes.
• Monitor contract performance, deliverables and commercial risks.
• Prepare reporting, governance documentation and maintain contract management systems.
• Ensure activities comply with Defence standards, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial, contract management, procurement or Defence governance environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
• Active NV1 Defence Security Clearance (Baseline Clearance or above).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
