Commercial Manager – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead presales and contract management activities across its Australia and New Zealand business. You will act as a strategic partner throughout the bid and contract lifecycle, shaping commercial deals and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, draft proposals and support bid strategy.
• Lead contract negotiations, including complex government agreements and public‑private partnerships.
• Coordinate input from Sales, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Procurement and other internal stakeholders.
• Maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers and act as the primary commercial liaison.
• Ensure compliance with Australian government security clearance requirements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a business‑related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial management, preferably within IT managed services or technology environments.
• Ability to manage multiple demands, meet tight deadlines and work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Eligibility to obtain and retain Australian government (Baseline) security clearance.
