Commercial Litigation Lawyer (Hybrid)

About the role

KOLLREPP LAW is seeking a full‑time Lawyer to join its boutique commercial litigation team in Bundall, Queensland. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong on‑site presence for client interaction and court appearances.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, including drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal advice.
• Prepare court documents, brief counsel and appear at courts and tribunals as required.
• Conduct legal research, review evidence and documents, and develop case strategies aligned with clients' commercial objectives.
• Participate in client meetings, settlement negotiations and collaborative case planning with colleagues.
• Assist with matter management, file administration and accurate record‑keeping to support efficient practice operations.

Required profile

• Admission as a Lawyer in Australia with a current practising certificate.
• Experience in commercial litigation, debt recovery and dispute resolution.
• Strong legal research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with commercial judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including clear drafting of advice and pleadings.
• Effective time‑management, ability to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Professionalism, integrity and a client‑service focus, with a commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with common legal practice software.
• Experience using litigation support tools (beneficial).
