Commercial Litigation Lawyer (1-4 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated litigation lawyer with 1‑4 years post‑qualification experience to join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. The role offers hands‑on exposure to complex, high‑profile disputes for corporate and private clients in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers on commercial litigation matters, including regulatory investigations, insolvency and restructuring disputes, and white‑collar enforcement actions.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and advisory memoranda.
• Analyse factual and legal issues, develop case strategy, and manage evidence.
• Engage directly with clients, providing updates and strategic advice.
• Collaborate across the team to ensure thorough and precise execution of dispute matters.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years PQE in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm.
• Excellent academic record and strong analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle complex factual scenarios.
• Commercial awareness and motivation to develop as a well‑rounded litigation lawyer.
