Commercial Controller ANZ

About the role

A global listed organisation is recruiting a Commercial Manager (ANZ) through its recruitment partner, based in Western Sydney (Parramatta area) with a hybrid arrangement. The role supports commercial decision-making across a regional remit, partnering with finance, sales and senior leadership to improve the quality of analysis, pricing governance, reporting and performance insight. The advertised salary is $162,400.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review pricing calculations, commercial analysis and recommendation papers.
• Coordinate pricing governance meetings, agendas, approvals and supporting materials.
• Maintain accurate records, approvals, audit trails and supporting documentation.
• Monitor pricing support activity, assess margin impact and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Analyse sales penetration, volume trends and performance drivers.
• Support forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting, gathering commercial commentary from business leaders.
• Assist with executive and external stakeholder reporting packs, cashflow forecasting, funding assumptions and compliance-related reporting.
• Assist with finance projects, process improvement, system testing and data validation.
• Support audit requests, controls documentation and regulatory reporting as required.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified; Big 4 experience desirable.
• Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Strong finance function experience in a commercial, control, analysis or business partnering capacity.
• Experience preparing commercial insights, pricing analysis, forecasts or performance reporting.
• Ability to work across finance, sales, treasury, compliance and executive stakeholders.
• Exposure to complex corporate, regulated or governance-focused environments is advantageous.

• Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities and cyclical reporting.
• Confident communication with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
