Colour Specialist – Retail Makeup Artist

About the role

MECCA is seeking a passionate Colour Specialist to join its new Claremont store in Western Australia. You will deliver professional makeup services, advise customers on product selection, and help create memorable beauty experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications ranging from full glam to natural looks for walk‑in customers.
• Act as the in‑store makeup expert, recommending products that meet individual customer needs.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a high‑standard customer experience throughout the store.

Required profile

• Proven experience in professional makeup application with the ability to manage back‑to‑back appointments during peak hours.
• Confident delivering current trends such as graphic liners, smoky eyes, and bold lip colours.
• Team‑oriented, inclusive attitude with a can‑do mindset.

Required skills

• Expertise in makeup techniques and product knowledge across multiple brands.
• Ability to coach and upskill peers, contributing to the growth of the makeup category.
