About the role
A leading specialist in stone fabrication in Sydney is looking for a CNC Stone Operator to produce high-end benchtop surfaces for residential and commercial projects. The work is done on an Intermac Master CNC, a purpose-built machine for stone.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate the Intermac Master CNC for stone benchtop work
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy
- Monitor cutting cycles and adjust as needed
- Inspect finished products for defects
- Care for routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Follow OH&S procedures and silica controls
Required profile
- Sonemasonry trade qualification or industry experience
- 2+ years operating a CNC stone machining centre (Intermac, Breton, CMS or similar)
- Ability to read plans and measurements
- Current working rights in Australia
