Clinical Pharmacist – Oncology (12‑month contract & permanent)

About the role

Icon Group’s Slade Pharmacy Northside, located within St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, is seeking experienced pharmacists to join a multidisciplinary oncology team. The role offers both 12‑month contract and permanent full‑time options, with comprehensive training in oncology pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including oncology medication dispensing and patient counselling.
• Develop and contribute to complex treatment plans, applying evidence‑based medication management.
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in structured oncology training and mentorship programs.
• Progress to higher levels of autonomy as training milestones are achieved.

Required profile

• Permanent Australian working rights and current AHPRA general registration without restrictions.
• Minimum 3 years community pharmacy experience or 1 year hospital/clinical pharmacy experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective multidisciplinary interaction.
