Clinical Nurse – Orthopaedic (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy Orthopaedic unit as a Clinical Nurse. This advanced level role provides clinical expertise in complex musculoskeletal care, coordinates shift workflows and mentors junior staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes from admission through post‑operative rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical care for orthopaedic patients, including pre‑operative assessment and post‑operative rehabilitation.
• Coordinate shift schedules, manage workflow and act as a clinical resource for problem‑solving on the unit.
• Participate in orientation, in‑service training and education programmes for graduates and novice staff.

Required profile

• Minimum three years post‑graduate experience in orthopaedic nursing.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong communication skills, ability to mentor and act as a positive role model.
