About the role
AECOM is seeking an experienced Client Director to lead and grow a strategic transport enterprise account in Victoria. The role oversees a multi‑year portfolio covering road and rail upgrades, tunnels, stations, mobility solutions and digital asset transformation across Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Set account vision and strategy, cultivating C‑suite and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Orchestrate integrated delivery across advisory, planning, design, engineering, digital, environmental and program management to achieve safety, reliability, capacity and decarbonisation outcomes.
- Identify client goals, align engineering solutions, and drive pipeline origination and qualification.
- Shape win themes for major pursuits, embed ESG and resilience considerations, and mobilise enterprise capabilities.
- Provide senior oversight on executive workshops, stakeholder engagement and regular business reviews.
Required profile
- Proven account management experience in transport engineering or technical services with a strong growth track record.
- Results‑driven focus on measurable outcomes, client satisfaction and portfolio growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence senior stakeholders and maintain enduring relationships.
- Strong business acumen, creative problem‑solving mindset and ability to capitalise on revenue opportunities.
- Degree in business, engineering, project management, strategy or related field.
Required skills
- Experience working with CAM teams, capture managers and pursuit directors on major pursuits.
- Ability to negotiate risk‑aware terms and manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
