About the role
The Wheatbelt Mental Health Service is seeking a Clerical Officer to provide high‑quality administrative support to mental health professionals and service users. This role contributes to the efficient operation of the service and upholds the values of WA Country Health Service.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver front‑line service to consumers attending the Wheatbelt Mental Health Service.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to mental health clinicians, including scheduling, record handling and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with organisational policies.
- Support the smooth operation of the service by managing office supplies, equipment and general enquiries.
Required profile
- Australian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a visa that permits indefinite work (permanent role) or a valid working visa (fixed‑term role).
- Willingness to undergo criminal records screening, integrity checks, and, if required, a Working with Children check.
- Ability to complete a pre‑employment health assessment.
- Commitment to the values and ethical standards of WA Country Health Service.
