Civil & Concrete Site Supervisor

About the role

McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for civil and concrete projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors and resources, and ensure safety, quality, and programme delivery on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day civil and concrete construction works, including preparation, reinforcement, formwork, and pours.
• Lead and coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, equipment and materials.
• Plan daily and short‑term construction activities and monitor progress against the programme.
• Maintain detailed site diaries, review drawings and specifications, and ensure works meet client requirements.
• Identify delays, variations and risks early, and communicate them to the Site Manager and project team.
• Lead toolbox meetings, pre‑starts and site safety activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Civil Supervisor, Foreman, Leading Hand or similar role.
• Strong practical experience across civil and/or concrete construction, including formwork, reinforcement and concrete pours.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Good understanding of site safety, quality requirements and construction methodologies.
• Current Driver’s Licence, Construction White Card and relevant trade background.

Required skills

• Procore, Aconex or InEight project management systems (experience preferred).
• Construction White Card.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
