Catering Manager – FIFO – 8:6 Roster – Western Australia

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Catering Manager for FIFO sites across Western Australia. This full‑time position operates on an 8:6 roster, offering a dynamic environment where you will lead onsite catering operations and ensure a high‑quality dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all onsite catering activities, ensuring service standards meet Sodexo and client expectations.
• Drive efficiency and profitability by managing food and labour costs, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop a team of up to 30 staff, fostering a safety‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship or full working rights with ability to pass pre‑employment medical, drug/alcohol testing and police checks.
• Strong chef background with FIFO experience preferred; previous supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to work 11‑hour days in remote, extreme environments and maintain high fitness levels.

Required skills

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Advanced Food Handlers Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Experience in menu planning, budgeting and cost control.
