Catering Assistant - Residential Aged Care

About the role

Compass Group is hiring a Catering Assistant for its Uniting Springwood facility, about 20 minutes from Penrith, NSW. The role supports residents through quality food and hospitality in a residential aged care setting. It is a permanent part-time position with consistent hours, at $27.09 per hour plus benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and sandwich making
• Serve breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
• Maintain cleanliness across kitchen, dining and service areas
• Support the team in delivering a positive dining experience for residents

Required profile

• Hospitality, kitchen, healthcare or aged care experience is beneficial but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A reliable and professional approach to work
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check
