Category Manager – Luxury Beauty & Watch Portfolio

About the role

Join a global leader in travel retail as a Category Manager responsible for a high‑end beauty, watch and jewellery portfolio. You will shape the commercial strategy for luxury brands in Perth, balancing global standards with local market nuances.

Key responsibilities

• Own P&L for the beauty, watch and jewellery category, driving profitability and margin growth.
• Negotiate commercial terms, supply agreements and exclusive launches with luxury houses.
• Lead local sourcing and onboarding of premium brands.
• Optimise space productivity and support world‑class shop layout design.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Retail Operations, Supply Chain and Global Commercial teams on promotions and category insights.
• Analyse sales, inventory and margin data to inform assortment planning and lifecycle strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Category Management or Buying, preferably within the beauty or high‑end FMCG sector.
• Strong vendor relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with a track record of deep margin and performance analysis.
• Ability to work independently as the sole Category Lead while collaborating across functions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to senior leadership.
