Casual Veterinary Nurse – Morayfield Clinic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse on a casual basis to support our busy Morayfield clinic during leave periods, peak times and whenever extra hands are needed. You will work alongside a friendly team of veterinarians and staff, delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Pre‑ and post‑operative patient care, including surgical nursing and theatre support.
• Anaesthetic monitoring, patient recovery and emergency/critical care support.
• Dental procedures, pathology collection, IV catheter placement and blood sampling.
• Animal handling, restraint and maintaining hygiene and infection‑control standards.
• Assisting reception with client enquiries in person, by phone and email.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Confidence in both medical and surgical nursing, strong anaesthetic monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
