About the role
Bureau Veritas is seeking casual Laboratory Technicians for its Newcastle site to support the Fuels division. The role focuses on manual handling and preparation of large coal samples for laboratory testing and on simulating coal production processes to assess sample properties.
Key responsibilities
- Perform manual handling tasks to prepare large physical coal samples for testing.
- Assist in the simulation of coal production processes and conduct property testing of the samples.
Required profile
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Ability to pass an Order 43 Medical and hold a valid NSW driver’s licence.
- Reliable with good communication skills and must live locally in the Newcastle region.
- Willingness to undergo ongoing drug and alcohol testing and site inductions.
