Casual Housekeeper Cleaner

About the role

Oaks Adelaide Horizon Suited is expanding its housekeeping department and is hiring several casual cleaners. The role involves thorough cleaning of guest rooms to a high standard, working in a team to meet daily cleaning targets. Shifts rotate across the week and start between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds precisely, vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms.
• Complete cleaning tasks within the hours allocated by the company.
• Work with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely, with training and tools provided.
• Build professional relationships with team members, guests and contractors.

Required profile

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and good physical fitness and stamina, able to stand, bend and lift for long periods.
• Professional communication skills and good time management.
• Positive, proactive attitude and availability for flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Working rights in Australia or New Zealand only.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
