Care Account Manager (Clinical) – ANZ

About the role

Intellect delivers a clinically governed mental health programme for mining and resources enterprises across Australia. The Care Account Manager (Clinical) acts as the clinical coordinator and case manager for high‑risk employee cases, overseeing the journey from initial risk assessment to reintegration and case closure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of high‑risk cases, including risk assessment, escalation, fitness‑for‑work assessment and closure.
• Coordinate therapy scheduling, monitor SLA compliance and act as third‑line escalation for complex issues.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans with clinicians, track progress and ensure cultural relevance for First Nations and remote workers.
• Oversee clinical risk governance, sign‑off risk assessments and maintain clinical protocols and SOPs.
• Initiate fitness‑for‑work assessments, communicate outcomes and develop reintegration plans with client stakeholders.
• Produce monthly clinical reports, present insights to client review meetings and deliver training on clinical frameworks.

Required profile

• Registered clinical psychologist or qualified counsellor with current registration in Australia.
• Master's degree in clinical psychology, counselling or related field.
• 3‑5 years of clinical case management experience in EAP, corporate wellbeing or high‑acuity mental health settings.
• Proven experience managing complex, high‑risk cases end‑to‑end and making clinical decisions.
• Experience with return‑to‑work, fitness‑for‑work or occupational mental health pathways.
• Strong stakeholder management skills in corporate or large‑organisation environments.
