Cardiac CT Radiographer

About the role

Advara HeartCare, the largest cardiology provider in Australia with more than 90 centres, is hiring a Cardiac CT Radiographer for its Doncaster clinic. The clinic operates in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility, and the radiographer works closely with other Cardiac CT Radiographers, Registered Nurses and administrative staff to coordinate rosters and deliver high-quality cardiac CT care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cardiac CT examinations, including CT coronary angiography, structural heart CT scans and calcium scores, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Analyse images carefully and accurately, including workup and vessel tracking on the GE AW Workstation; report urgent findings to cardiologists
• Carry out administrative tasks so that patient examinations are completed on time
• Liaise with administration to make sure clinical lists and appointments are used effectively
• Implement quality processes and suggest improvements to systems, workflows and workloads

Required profile

• Current authority to practice as a Diagnostic Radiographer with AHPRA and a current EPA radiation licence
• Experience in cardiac CT imaging is preferred but not essential
• Effective clinical and non-clinical communication, with written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Able to prioritise and organise their workload and manage competing priorities
• Friendly, sensitive and professional approach to patients
