Medic - Full Time & Casual

About the role

Crown Resorts Perth is growing its internal Medical Response Team and is seeking experienced medics for positions across its Burswood operations. Reporting to the Medical Services Manager, the single-responder Crown Medic provides prompt, professional first aid and emergency care at incidents across Crown Perth and the surrounding area, delivering primary and pre-hospital care in a 24-hour environment. The role is offered full time and casual, with roster patterns varying by arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, professional first aid and emergency medical care to patrons, employees and contractors
• Respond promptly to medical incidents, including those dispatched by the jurisdictional ambulance service
• Take clinical leadership at incidents, coordinating patient care, scene management and escalation
• Conduct medical assessments and determine treatment or referral pathways
• Liaise with external Emergency Services for safe and efficient patient handover
• Comply with Crown Perth policies, clinical governance standards and health and safety requirements

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years' recent, relevant operational experience
• Diploma of Emergency Health Care (HLT51020) or Diploma of Paramedical Science
• Ability to work autonomously as a single responder, with strong clinical judgement and calmness under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
• Ideal for operators trained, motivated and able to work under limited supervision; paramedics are welcome but must know the scope of practice is not scoped at Paramedic
