Car Cleaner/Detailer (Casual)

About the role

This outdoor position at Avis Budget Newcastle Airport involves detailing vehicles to ensure they are clean and ready for customers. It is an entry‑level role with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle interiors and exteriors by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming.
• Refuel tanks, check fluid levels, and inspect tire pressure and tread depth.
• Assess vehicles for new damages and report according to ABG procedures.

Required profile

• Full, valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Availability for a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Experience in customer‑facing roles such as retail, hospitality, or sales is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while delivering exceptional service.
• Comfort with computer systems for managing bookings and rental information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
