Business Tax Specialist – Senior Associate

About the role

You will support corporate and privately‑owned businesses in navigating complex tax environments. As a Senior Associate you will deliver customised tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client base, including multinationals, listed and unlisted corporations, family enterprises, partnerships and privately‑held companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of corporate and private business clients, understanding their tax needs and providing tailored advice.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
• Advise on tax‑efficient strategies such as succession planning, M&A, and reorganisations.
• Conduct in‑depth research on tax law changes and communicate updates to clients.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Identify tax risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support tax due diligence, review tax sections of purchase agreements, and assist with post‑acquisition tax integration.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in corporate and private business tax compliance and advisory.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
