Business Sales Consultant (Appointment Setter)

About the role

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an engaging and driven individual to join our Marketing team as a Business Sales Consultant (Appointment Setter). You will make strategic outbound calls to targeted prospects, work closely with the Head of Marketing, and book quality appointments for our sales teams across Australia. The role offers a generous commission structure for both appointments set and deals closed, and can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney with hybrid flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to qualified prospects to schedule meetings for the sales team.
• Conduct targeted market research to uncover new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the Pipedrive CRM.
• Complete follow‑up tasks and report on call activity, appointments set, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine lead lists and improve conversion.

Required profile

• Demonstrated cold‑calling experience in a B2B phone environment.
• Confident phone manner with a track record of meeting KPIs.
• Passion for sales and a self‑motivated, results‑oriented approach.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex information and explain it clearly (financial acumen is a plus).
• Resilience, problem‑solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Experience using Pipedrive or a similar CRM is highly regarded.
