Business Partner – People & Culture (ANZ)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Partner – People & Culture for the ANZ region, based in Sydney or Melbourne with a hybrid work model. The role partners with senior leaders to design and deliver people strategies that drive business performance, engagement and growth in a fast‑paced professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational HR advice across the employee lifecycle, supporting workforce planning, performance management and organisational development.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, influencing decision‑making and strengthening organisational capability.
• Lead, coach and develop direct reports to achieve high performance and professional growth.
• Guide employee relations matters and manage people‑related risk.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Foster a collaborative, high‑performing workplace culture.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Management Administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a generalist People & Culture/HR role, preferably within professional services.
• Proven ability to build and maintain trusted internal client relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with direct reports.
