Business Lead

About the role

Akcelo is seeking a senior Business Lead to shape and grow high‑value client relationships, drive commercial performance and deliver award‑winning brand experiences for some of the world’s most famous brands.

Key responsibilities

• Champion world‑class, award‑winning work for major Australian brands.
• Build, deepen and broaden senior client partnerships, creating strategic growth plans that drive revenue.
• Prepare and present accurate forecasts, ensuring growth plans are implemented and consistently achieved.
• Lead C‑Level engagement, shaping high‑trust, long‑term relationships.
• Motivate and guide the Akcelo team, aligning client objectives with agency ambition and quality standards.
• Oversee allocation and leadership of cross‑discipline resources to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Develop senior relationships through thought leadership, strategic counsel and meaningful connection.
• Manage risk and forward‑plan projects to keep them on track for timing, quality and commercial performance.
• Identify and activate opportunities for Akcelo to expand its capabilities for clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years in a senior Account Management role within a creative or advertising agency.
• Proven success leading client relationships and managing multiple complex projects.
• Experience across integrated campaigns with curiosity to expand across brand, film, digital, social, activations, retail, CX, Martech and lifecycle strategy.
• Highly organised, detail‑driven and committed to delivering excellence.
• Thrives in fast‑paced, collaborative environments with tight turnarounds.
• Confident communicator who builds trust across clients, teams and senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across time zones and willing to travel for key moments.
• Passionate about great work and the people who bring it to life.
