Social Manager

About the role

Akcelo, an independent Brand Experience agency, is seeking a Social Manager to champion the role of social media for its brand partners, including global names such as McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Tinder and TikTok.

Key responsibilities

• Identify consumer behaviours on social platforms and turn insights into creative concepts or award‑winning ideas.
• Lead community engagement, influencer connections and content creation across owned channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest).
• Produce timely reports that distil large data sets into actionable insights for brand and insights teams.
• Collaborate with creatives, strategists, producers and clients to deliver best‑practice social campaigns.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of agency‑based social experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to sell ideas to clients.
• Comfortable juggling multiple brands, tones of voice and urgent deadlines.
• Passion for culture, sub‑cultures and emerging social trends.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of social channel formats, algorithm changes and emerging trends.
• Experience planning and executing influencer‑led campaigns.
• Ability to create and shoot social‑first content.
• Excellent written skills and attention to detail.
