Business Director – Corporate Communications

About the role

As a Business Director in the Corporate Practice at FleishmanHillard ANZ, you will lead strategic communications for high‑profile Australian and global brands across financial services, technology, and healthcare. You will shape reputations, manage issues and build trust through compelling storytelling and strong media relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead retained accounts and campaign work for high‑profile clients with complex corporate communications needs.
• Develop and implement strategic communications plans that build and protect corporate reputation.
• Cultivate strong media relationships across mainstream, business and trade outlets.
• Provide senior counsel to clients and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their growth and development.

Required profile

• 6+ years’ experience in a PR agency or similar environment, focused on B2B and corporate communications.
• Passionate about news media and deeply engaged with the corporate landscape locally and globally.
• Confidence in managing senior clients and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Proven track record in media relations and securing impactful coverage.
• Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
