Business Development / Sales Executive

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Business Development / Sales Executive to join its Perth team. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and offers an entry point for recent graduates or early‑career professionals eager to build a career in business development.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business across corporate and mid‑market segments by cultivating prospect relationships and managing a sales pipeline.
• Conduct market and industry research, leverage marketing channels, and identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to maximise profitability.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with Marsh’s operating model and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, business development, or agency recruitment.
• Strong communication, influencing, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to prioritise work, multitask and meet deadlines consistently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software (Marsh CRM) for pipeline management.
• Understanding of insurance broking principles and products is advantageous.
