Business Development Partner - Sydney

About the role

Envoyage, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, is looking for a Business Development Partner to drive new business sales across the Envoyage Network in Sydney. The role builds relationships with key decision makers through networking, customer profiling and local marketing and events. It focuses on new business acquisition (70%), sales process (20%) and support and stick rate (10%), with clear performance metrics for each objective.

Key responsibilities

• Build and leverage networks with key suppliers, industry bodies, internally within FCTG and with existing agencies
• Work with the marketing team to help generate new leads
• Use Salesforce to record customer activity and manage opportunities
• Qualify customer needs, identify gaps and offer tailored solutions
• Understand market trends, competitor offerings and Envoyage's differentiators
• Present products and services to maximise travel spend, stick rate and profitability
• Negotiate outcomes while optimising margin and profitability, and guide customers through the transition phase

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in a BDM role within the travel industry, with strong relationships with independent travel agencies
• Consistently high performance in meeting sales targets
• Understanding of travel agency processes and the travel supplier landscape

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
