Business Development Manager – Private Sector Technology Sales

About the role

Logicalis Australia is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join its Private Sector Sales team in Brisbane or Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Private Sector Sales, you will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from prospecting new logos to closing contracts, and help shape the company’s growth strategy across cloud, cyber security, data, AI and managed services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory acquisition strategies to win net‑new private‑sector customers.
• Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, social selling, events and targeted outbound campaigns.
• Build trusted relationships with C‑suite executives and maintain a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle, including proposal development, negotiation and contract execution.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, delivery and vendor partners to design outcome‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology sales, business development or strategic account acquisition.
• Proven track record of exceeding new‑business and revenue targets.
• Ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and executive‑level communication skills.
