Business Development Manager – New Business

About the role

Macquarie Wealth Solutions is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive acquisition of new adviser relationships across the wealth management market. You will represent a leading Australian wealth business and build strong networks within the financial advice community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) and dealer group market.
• Proactively build relationships with advisers, licensees and key industry stakeholders, understanding their business models and growth objectives.
• Leverage market knowledge and a consultative sales approach to position Macquarie's wealth solutions.
• Execute a disciplined business development strategy to achieve growth targets.

Required profile

• Experience in business development, relationship management or sales within financial services, wealth management, platforms or investments.
• Strong prospecting, influencing and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving growth targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, adaptable to different audiences.
• Growth mindset, resilience and results‑focused approach.
