Business Development Manager

About the role

We are an international recruitment consultancy expanding our Australian presence and are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the automotive sector. This full‑time, onsite role will work closely with leadership and offshore support teams to build a strong client base across dealerships and related businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within automotive dealerships and related companies.
• Build and maintain client relationships through in‑person meetings, networking, and proactive outreach.
• Generate leads, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Collaborate with offshore pre‑sales and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Seek repeat business and long‑term partnership opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven business development or sales experience, preferably in recruitment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven, comfortable working in a high‑ownership environment.
• Motivated by performance‑based earnings and commission structures.
