Business Development Manager

About the role

Logicalis Australia is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join the Private Sector Sales team in Brisbane or Sydney. You will be responsible for acquiring new private‑sector customers, expanding market presence and positioning Logicalis as a trusted technology transformation partner.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory acquisition strategies to drive net‑new customer growth.
• Identify, qualify and convert new private‑sector customers through prospecting, networking and outbound campaigns.
• Build trusted relationships with C‑suite executives and strategic stakeholders.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting and manage CRM data.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract execution.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, delivery and vendor partners to create outcome‑focused solutions.
• Present business cases and technology transformation strategies to executive audiences.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology sales, business development or strategic account acquisition.
• Proven track record of exceeding new‑business and revenue targets.
• Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and deal‑management experience.
• Ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in a systems integrator, managed service provider or technology services environment is highly regarded.
