Business Development Manager - FX Risk Management

About the role

Corpay, the world's largest non-bank provider of cross-border payments and foreign exchange risk management solutions, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Melbourne office. The role focuses on generating new business in the foreign exchange risk management segment, expanding market presence, driving sales growth and building strategic partnerships. Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly targets by prospecting, qualifying, progressing and closing corporate accounts with foreign exchange risk management needs.
• Attend face-to-face appointments with prospects to carry out needs analysis and discovery.
• Use your industry network to identify referral opportunities, share industry insight and raise market awareness of Corpay.
• Present Corpay's payment and FX risk management solutions to corporates in Australia and convert prospects into clients.
• Follow up prospects through periodic calls, timely market updates and marketing materials.
• Stay up to date with financial markets and economic developments.

Required profile

• 3-5 years' experience in corporate sales; foreign exchange risk management, international payments or banking experience is an advantage.
• Ability to generate and convert a pipeline of corporate prospects into customers.
• Comfortable with regular cold calling to corporate accounts and confidence engaging with directors and C-level executives.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, resilience and a positive outlook.
• Ability to work independently from the field, home or the Melbourne office.

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial markets is a plus.
• Understanding of foreign exchange risk management (training provided).
