Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity & Managed Services

About the role

Madre Janus is expanding its cybersecurity and managed technology services business in Australia. The Business Development Manager will own the market build, pipeline creation and deal closure, working directly with senior technology leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new mid‑market and enterprise accounts across Australia and build a qualified sales pipeline.
• Engage CIOs, CISOs, CTOs and other senior decision‑makers to discover challenges and shape commercially relevant solutions.
• Lead discovery, qualification, stakeholder mapping and account planning, and coordinate technical workshops, demos and proofs of concept.
• Manage objections, negotiations, tenders and contract discussions to close profitable new business and create cross‑sell opportunities.
• Build alliances with technology vendors, MSPs, system integrators and referral partners while maintaining disciplined CRM reporting.

Required profile

• At least five years of successful B2B technology sales or business‑development experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian technology market and a proven record of generating and closing new business.
• Confidence engaging senior technology and security leaders and an established network of Australian tech decision‑makers is a plus.
• Commercial discipline, resilience and the ability to work independently.
