About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead new‑business acquisition for Microsoft‑based cloud solutions. In this hunter role you will build pipelines, engage C‑level decision makers and close deals across Microsoft 365, Azure and Managed Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the Australian market.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and proposal to presentation and closing.
  • Engage C‑level stakeholders, understand their business challenges and tailor cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions and deliver proof‑of‑concepts.
  • Maintain accurate records in Dynamics 365 CRM, forecast pipeline and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hunter Business Development or New Business Sales role, preferably in IT or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new logos and meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Confidence presenting to executives and building compelling business cases.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑900, MS‑900) are a strong plus.
