About the role
ANZ is seeking a Business Banking Manager to lead growth of its small‑business portfolio in New South Wales. You will work from the Sydney office, building long‑term relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions to help clients thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Grow revenue, deposits and share of wallet by acquiring new small‑business customers and cross‑selling ANZ products.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with an existing portfolio of small‑business clients.
- Provide value‑added financial advice, conduct risk assessments and perform financial analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams across the Business Unit and wider bank to support client growth.
- Coach and mentor junior staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
Required profile
- Strong customer focus with curiosity about client drivers and needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to analyse financial statements and identify key insights.
- Proven track record in business banking or commercial sales.
