Building Maintenance Technician - Property Repairs and Carpentry

About the role

A well-established property maintenance company is seeking experienced Building Maintenance and Carpentry Technicians to carry out maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties. This is a casual ongoing position based in the northern suburbs of metropolitan Adelaide, with varied tasks and the possibility of moving to permanent employment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend multiple property locations to deliver maintenance and carpentry repairs.
• Perform general handyman duties such as fixing doors, locks and fittings, minor renovations, plastering and painting.
• Identify maintenance issues and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage tools and materials needed to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain high workmanship standards, with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety compliance.

Required profile

• Carpentry qualification or significant hands-on experience in general building maintenance.
• Ability to independently assess and resolve maintenance issues across several sites.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Valid work rights for Australia; sponsorship and work visas are not accepted.
