Building Construction Engineer – All Levels – Sydney Relocation

About the role

Richard Crookes Constructions is expanding its Sydney project teams and is looking for building construction engineers at all levels – from Site Engineer to Senior Project Engineer. The positions are project‑based, site‑focused and require relocation to Sydney for long‑term involvement on complex health, education and commercial builds.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of building construction projects from early works through to practical completion.
• Manage subcontractors, coordinate on‑site works and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.
• Assist with programme management, quality assurance, cost control and progress reporting.
• Handle RFIs, variations, progress claims and other project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and the broader delivery team.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in building construction, preferably in site‑engineer or project‑engineer roles.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to relocate to Sydney for long‑term project opportunities.
