Branch Manager – Recruitment Agency

About the role

A national recruitment business is seeking an experienced, commercially driven Branch Manager to lead its Hamilton (Brisbane) team. The role reports to the General Manager - Operations and covers overall branch performance, business development, team leadership and operational delivery, while personally managing a small client portfolio. It sits in the transport and logistics, manufacturing and civil construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the local team
• Drive new business through prospecting, networking and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships
• Manage a small client portfolio and grow existing accounts
• Take ownership of branch performance and implement improvement measures
• Oversee recruitment operations, workforce management, compliance and WHS
• Work closely with national leadership on broader business objectives

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment agency or labour hire operations, within industrial recruitment
• Strong track record in business development and account management
• Demonstrated leadership experience and sound commercial acumen
• Understanding of recruitment operations, labour hire compliance and WHS requirements
