Associate People Risk

About the role

Howden, a global insurance group, is looking for a People Risk Associate to join its growing team in Perth. You will work directly with employers, insurers, rehabilitation providers and legal professionals to solve complex workforce risk challenges, from coaching clients on injury management and return-to-work strategies to analysing claims trends and spotting prevention opportunities. The role suits someone with experience in Workers Compensation, Claims Management, Injury Management, Allied Health or Insurance who wants more variety, autonomy and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Coach clients on injury management and return-to-work strategies
• Analyse claims trends and identify opportunities for prevention
• Build strong relationships with employers, insurers, rehabilitation providers and legal professionals
• Manage a varied caseload of complex people risk challenges

Required profile

• Strong experience in workers' compensation and claims management
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial curiosity, a solutions mindset and genuine passion for improving client outcomes
• Allied health and injury management background (desirable)
