Bookkeeper – Hybrid Role in Accounting Practice

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a dynamic mid-sized accounting practice. The role offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to split time between the office and home while supporting a diverse portfolio of business clients.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing and payroll tax compliance.
• Management of job budgets, timesheets and related reporting.
• Preparation and review of quarterly and monthly Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Monthly reporting, including profit & loss, cash-flow and balance-sheet statements.
• Accounts payable and receivable administration.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply award rates in payroll situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a supportive team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with XERO accounting software.
• Proficiency with MYOB accounting software.
