Behaviour Support Practitioner

About the role

Allied X is looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner in Wetherill Park, Sydney. You will create and deliver person-centred, evidence-informed behaviour support plans aligned with participants' NDIS goals, working with children, adolescents and adults. The role is hybrid, combining clinic-based and community-based work across various locations in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
• Conduct functional assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions
• Provide training and support to families, carers and support teams
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all standards
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team

Required profile

• NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Core, Proficient or Advantage)
• Experience developing Behaviour Support Plans and conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments
• Knowledge of restrictive practices and the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Driver's license
