Batcher – Concrete Production Specialist

About the role

Join Heidelberg Materials as a Batcher and be part of a dynamic team delivering high‑quality concrete to customers. You will experience a varied day‑to‑day mix of batching, yard duties and customer interaction, supported by competitive pay and a comprehensive training program.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the front‑end loader and assist with concrete batching.
• Perform pre‑start checks, stock takes and general site maintenance.
• Manage staff rosters, allocate duties and support purchasing activities.
• Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed at all times.

Required profile

• Current Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Safety‑first attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.

Required skills

• Front‑end loader operation (experience preferred).
• Basic computer skills; SAP or batching software experience is beneficial.

What we offer

• Hourly rate $35.03–$37.90 (AUD) with overtime (time‑and‑a‑half after 8 hrs, double after 10 hrs).
• 45–55 average weekly hours, Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturdays.
