Bar Supervisor

About the role

Alfie's, part of the Liquid & Larder group, is hiring a Bar Supervisor for its Sydney restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership position at the heart of the bar, responsible for the consistency of every pour, the confidence of the team and the experience of every guest. The role operates with autonomy and sets the standard by example.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all cocktails are prepared to specification, every time
• Lead and direct the bar team with clarity and confidence
• Maintain a fully stocked bar, including wet goods, dry goods and batched product
• Ensure efficient, professional guest experiences aligned with brand strategy
• Order and manage stock with a focus on waste and budget
• Handle cash-up reconciliation and operational administration
• Communicate across the full venue team and uphold compliance with legal requirements
• Host and support floor service as required

Required profile

• Proven experience in a premium or hatted venue (essential)
• Self-assured, calm under pressure and decisive
• Natural communicator and confident team leader
• Attention to detail and a growth mindset
