Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Mount Gambier)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their full range of financial needs. You will conduct transaction activities, hold needs‑based conversations and educate clients on digital banking solutions while upholding ANZ’s Customer Promises.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with end‑to‑end banking services, including transactions, advice and digital education.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative branch team.
• Drive higher customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in bank programs and initiatives to support branch objectives.
• Maintain a strong ‘know your customer’ approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology in a banking environment.
• Ability to conduct in‑depth, needs‑based conversations and complete customer transactions.
