About the role

As a Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their end‑to‑end financial needs. Working primarily from the Atrium Shopping Centre branch in Tamworth, you will combine transaction processing with needs‑based conversations and digital education.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a smooth branch experience across all transaction activities.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations and educate customers on available digital banking solutions.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Support bank programs and initiatives as required.
• Maintain a thorough “know‑your‑customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus with retail banking experience.
• Ability to complete customer transactions accurately.
• Strong communication skills for in‑depth, needs‑based conversations.
• Commitment to acting as a peer coach and role model.
