About the role

The Banking Consultant role at ANZ’s Ballina branch focuses on delivering a seamless banking experience for customers. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct transactions, and guide clients toward digital solutions while supporting their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions and needs‑based conversations.
• Educate customers on digital banking solutions and promote usage of ANZ’s online channels.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within the branch team.
• Support bank programmes and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain “know your customer” obligations and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting digital technology and channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate and coach peers.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
